HISTORY

The Havanese, affectionately known as 'velcro dogs' for their attachment to their owners, are Cuba's only native breed. They graced the laps of Cuban aristocracy in the 1800s, having sailed across the ocean from their Mediterranean ancestors. Surviving revolutions and embargoes, they've charmed their way into hearts worldwide with their resilience and jovial nature.
