To improve the behavioural health, welfare and long term success of pet dogs by both educating the public and encouraging the breeding of dogs behaviourally suited to life as family companions.

Meet Your Dog Online will help people identify the breeds of dog to best suit their home, lifestyle and expectations before they acquire the dog, and provide owners with important insights and a better understanding of the dog they live with. Through the lens of applied ethology, we will manage expectations, advise on habitat requirements and affordances for the expression of natural behaviours by providing breed-specific management and enrichment ideas.
