HISTORY

The Boston Terrier, a breed affectionately known as the 'American Gentleman,' is distinguished by its unmistakable tuxedo jacket. Originating in the United States, this breed is a product of a cross between the English Bulldog and the now extinct White English Terrier. Developed in the late 19th century in Boston, Massachusetts, the breed quickly gained popularity, not only for its distinctive appearance but also for its amiable disposition. Initially bred for pit fighting, the Boston Terrier has evolved far from its rough-and-tumble origins to become a companionable and loving pet, a testament to the breed's adaptability and enduring charm.
